Not A Bot A Lot

Still trying to hang on to my sanity in today's world.
Trump going with the "Gumby" hairstyle is a choice...

The Heritage Foundation also recently floated the idea of giving straight, married couples a half-vote for each of their children:

The UN released their report a YEAR AGO that Israel tortured and raped THOUSANDS of Palestinian detainees - including CHILDREN. An entire year and nothing was done. That's disgusting.

Why does she sign her name with a "d" that looks like it's combined with a "q?" Is that her nod to QAnon?

Hmm, wonder why she singled out Tim Scott in her tirade? I can only wonder what shared characteristics Scott may have with the people she berated...

Thanks to Louis DeJoy & the GOP for their plan to keep people's votes from counting:

So she ate at a Waffle House once and now that's the defining moment of her life and political career?

"I'll read them all carefully..."
As carefully as she proofread her own memo, I guess. But then again, she has no experience as a journalist, so I guess details like proper punctuation are beyond her abilities.

This doesn't just seem "controversial," but just plain illegal.

This is the same man who reposted that Biden was excecuted in 2020 and was replaced by a robots and clones. He might believe he's actually AI.

I'd think that jobs that pay these amounts would offer health insurance. For 2 adult families, both jobs would have to not offer insurance.
Seems like the people most affected will be gig workers or self-employed. Looking further, it seems that's more people than I originally thought (per statista)

This sucks, but I'm not sure it'll affect that many people. First, one can only qualify for ACA insurance/subsidies if their employer doesn't offer any health insurance. And these are incomes 400% of poverty, per family size:
- 1 person: $62,600
- 2: $84,600
- 3: $106,600
- 4: $128,600
- 5: $150,600

Since they had already increased their consoles' prices earlier this year, it means their prices have gone up for Series S and X by $100 and $150 respectively in just 6 months.

NPR's story says people 6-minths and older can get it, but have to have a "conversation" about potential risks. Sounds like those red state laws on abortion where the woman would have to be told about adoption and stuff.

He didn't write this post. You can tell when someone else writes his posts because they're more coherent, laudatory of people that aren't cronies, & shows some level of sanity & humility. They try to make it seem like him by capitalizing & using quotes on random words. Just reread it w/that in mind.

I appreciate the author of the story @dbauder.bsky.social mentioning Dowd being fired from MSNBC for saying much less than Kilmeade, adding some much need context, highlighting the hypocrisy of right-wing vs. the left in the media. Thanks to @apnews.com as well:

"Just say when?"

Is that a question?
September 13, 2025 at 12:01 PM
I don't know if this is anything significant, but why did Trump put his golf shoes on at the White House? Who puts on their golf shoes at their home before driving to the golf course? He couldn't wear regular shoes in the limo then put on his golf shoes at the course?

Can they clarify why they're including 18 year olds in their classification of "minors?" Last I checked, 18 is an adult.
August 25, 2025 at 10:35 PM
Yeah, the article says they're ending it for "those under 19," which would include 18 yr olds, whi are legally adults. I don't understand the cutoff at 19, but 18 yr olds aren't minors.

"Strongly condemns." Reminds me of "A Few Good Men" when Demi Moore's character "stenuously objects" and Kevin Pollack's character rips into her:
