I hear ya. I thought that too, or if they'd give foster parents extra votes too. But I don't think it would help Republicans, even with those caveats, because they'd have to exclude minorities. I'm sure they'd like to do that, but they probably can't figure out how without going full Klan.

The Heritage Foundation also recently floated the idea of giving straight, married couples a half-vote for each of their children:

The emphasis on family policy is very evident in Heritage’s policy work.
One draft paper we obtained proposed a “Manhattan Project” for more babies.
A subsequent draft floats giving straight married couples an extra “half vote” in federal elections for each of their children.

God forbid those two places actually have adequate representation in our government.

This exactly why the GOP don't want free elections & are trying to stop them.
Gerrymandering, closing polling places, preventing early/mail-in voting, placing election deniers into positions overseeing elections, using ICE to intimidate voters - they won't stop because they can't win free elections.

True. It's they guys like Vought that created the playbook who aren't dumb, just morally bankrupt.

The guys pulling the strings aren't dumb. But the biggest reason they're "winning" is a lack of morals. I'm sure they think they're moral, but they clearly don't care who gets hurt by their actions, what laws they break as long as they don't face repercussions. The "end justifies the means" party.

How gracious of them to begrudgingly allow limited funding to help keep children from starving only after the courts forced them.

They're just trying to make a quick buck, not bothering with thinking of the long term effects. It's all about trying to make themselves rich (or richer) as fast as possible. Short-sighted, morality free. When AI takes over every job, they won't care, they'll have already made their money.

I like how the GOP constantly accuse Democrats of abusing power when historically, Dems often don't even use the legal power they have.

The UN released their report a YEAR AGO that Israel tortured and raped THOUSANDS of Palestinian detainees - including CHILDREN. An entire year and nothing was done. That's disgusting.

So, big market big-money team that won it all just last year "deserves" to win because they're in a big city w/a lot of people so their problems are more important than other fans' problems. Am I getting that right?
Sports are a DISTRACTION. I enjoy them too, but way too much money is spent on them.
