Norway deeply regrets the new US sanctions against ICC judges. Such measures undermine the International Criminal Court as a whole.

Norway supports the Court unequivocally and urges all States to refrain from efforts to compromise its ability to perform its mandate impartially and independently.

Norway, Sweden & Denmark will jointly fund US defence equipment for Ukraine under NATO’s new initiative — the Prioritised Ukraine Requirement List (PURL).

Together, we’re contributing $500M to strengthen Ukrainian air defence and meet urgent military needs.

At 8pm today, the national observance of Remembrance Day takes place in the Netherlands. Our embassy joins the two minutes of silence that are observed across the country to commemorate the Dutch victims of war.

Any State Party to the Rome Statute is obliged to arrest and surrender any person subject to an ICC arrest warrant.
