This fox approached me this morning while I was walking. It wasn’t afraid of me and got within 10 feet of me. I assume someone had been feeding it. 😟

First snow storm of the season was a pretty extreme event. Lots of trees blown over and power outages. But it did make for some nice photos. #photograpy #iphone

Today walking in the forest I came across an animal I had previously only seen in photos. I initially thought it was a squirrel but I realized it was too large to be one. To my surprise it turned out to be a Pine Martin. #photography #wildlife

This morning I traveled to a new location to try some long exposure landscape photography which didn't turn out. However I had some incredible wildlife encounters which made the trip worthwhile.
I spotted two otters watching me set up. The noise they made attracted a Coyote. #photography

My garlic crop this year was excellent. I should have enough for the following year plus seed to plant this fall. My house smells…ok it reeks of garlic right now :)

One of the few things I appreciate about winter is the birds that migrate south from the arctic. This ptarmigan along with 3 others was wondering around my yard this morning.
