Yeah honestly West Jet is no better. I think the only Canadian airline I’ve actually enjoyed has been Porter. It’s quite pricey though, but the service is wonderful.

You seem to be one of the very few who have had a good experience with them, because just about everyone else in the discussion are united under the fact that Air Canada has consistently landed under the bar for service and treatment. I myself have been consistently let down by AC.

Problem is even the new “contract” that AC established still essentially screws over its staff; but I hope West Jet and other US airlines take a look at the essentially complete defamation of Air Canada and make a change so that nothing like this happens again- both to benefit the staff and us.

Not paying legal employees is also breaking the law…

They shouldn’t be fined at all. Yeah, thousands of Canadians have been stranded abroad and greatly inconvenienced, but it is our government who does not actually care about you enough to solve the problem. Don’t hate the working man for the problems the rich man causes.

Also the version I was watching had no subtitles for the Spanish parts and unfortunately I do not speak Spanish so I have to make it up sometimes
