Exactly the point we made when the decision to scrap the Coast Road BSIP scheme was taken. Improved signal timings will benefit more cars than bus passengers on this stretch.

Thanks, Mike. Increased bus priority into and out of Newcastle is vital for improving the reliability and competitiveness of buses. Has the signal priority scheme been implemented yet, do you know? If so, it doesn't seem to be making much of a discernable difference to bus services...

Yes, thank you for highlighting this, Mike. Investment in improvements for Manors would be very welcome, especially on the accessibility front.
