Comes down to longevity. Hamels averaged 192 IP/season, Sabathia 188. Sabathia just pitched 5 more seasons (2 on the front end, 3 on the back end)
Hamels is probably NOT a HOFer for me. Needed maybe 2 more years. But I'm obv still rooting for it.

If the Phillies have $55m to spend, and these are the AAV's. Who are you signing?
Hopefully they will dump Casty and get some of that $20 off the books. And hopefully they are able to trade for someone w/ a reasonable salary.

It's really close, but Skenes is slightly ahead. Really need a Skenes blow-up start or the Pirates to pitch him less and increase the IP gap
