Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we can never satisfy the rich

POVERTY EXISTS NOT BECAUSE WE CANNOT FEED THE POOR, BUT BECAUSE WE CAN NEVER SATISFY THE RICH

....I just fucking can't
They aren't targeting the people that aren't watching tv.

Of course they are! Has anyone in this admin ever been told no? Ever caught a hint of consequences?!

It's the same as the war on drugs or the war on terror.

Same as it ever was.

Republicans have a playbook that works. Why would they change tactics?

I hate that it seems like the only option for change is to act like the right wingers do (aggressive misinformation, not the violence part).

If we wait long enough, it'll be the only option we have and it'll be so much worse.

Limited private connections emerged by late 1989 and 1990. NSFNET was decommissioned in 1995, removing the last restrictions on the use of the Internet to carry commercial traffic, as traffic transitioned to optical networks managed by Sprint, MCI and AT&T.

Video arcades and consoles obviously aren't what we're talking about here!

We're talking internet.

Maybe it was just my area? Late 80s, early 90s and I was teased for being a "rich bitch" having a computer in the house. And I don't think we got internet until like 93?

Wild to think about getting familiar with computers on a laptop. So you can just.. LAN party without dismantling a whole ass setup?! Back in my day we had to drag giant monitors both ways in the snow dangnabit

And we could play with tower components! Remember swapping out your first graphics card?!

Is that timing for when internet was first available, or when the cost of computers and access came down enough that average households could afford it?

I'm millennial and I remember getting internet around 12 and it was kinda a "rich kid thing"

Why bother mentioning that he's an "unaffiliated voter"? In Utah you don't have to register with a party to vote.

Oh take your fake pearl clutching elsewhere.

Pointing out the incredible irony of the way he died and by whom isn't celebration.

No one is celebrating this. The only people calling for more violence are firmly planted on the right.

Don't let Republicans control the narrative.
