GOOD NEWS! A SINGLE infusion of a stem cell-based treatment, VX-880, may have CURED a small group of patients with the most SEVERE form of Type 1 Diabetes. 10 out of 12 patients have remained insulin-INDEPENDENT for OVER a year and the other two patients now need much LOWER doses of insulin. 🧪🧵⬇️
