Many were blackbirds, which coated paths and bushes and poured vertically down from the sky. Lots of redwings too, field fare, song and mistle thrush. A clouded yellow butterfly was unexpected too

Nice! Dave and I had a quail fly up s of Shangi la 31st May 2021, but maybe it didn't get on the official count. It's in my notebook though, with high res scribble drawing.... RBS the same day
