This pardon makes no sense, as I have not seen any evidence that this guy was wrongly convicted. Perhaps it is simply that convicted felons have a soft spot for other convicted felons? Laws are so woke.

I have seen no evidence that this guy was wrongly convicted, so a pardon makes zero sense, and is another poor decision by this President. But I guess ICE can now deport him back to his country?

All Americans should be outraged because at the core this threatens our Rights to Due Process - that someone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. We should not accept that a suspected criminal can be executed on the spot. That is what is happening here.

All Americans should be worried here because at the core, this is about giving up our Rights to Due Process - i.e. someone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If you can execute people on the spot for a suspected crime, it is a huge loss for ALL Americans. This is unacceptable.

Transparency about corruption doesn't make corruption OK. It's unacceptable. It's criminal. It's unacceptable. It's bad for America and all Americans to allow this level of blatant lawlessness. Is this what Americans voted for?

This is an unacceptable decision and authorizes an inappropriate use of troops. Shame on the Courts. Their job is to uphold the law and Constitution, not enable authoritarianism and take a knee to the wannabe king.

Wonder if anyone can verify the following. I heard through grapevine of retired military that last time all Generals were gathered was before the US invaded Iraq.
If that is in fact true, it may suggest this is more than a pep talk.

Neither Trump or Kennedy are medical doctors, and it is irresponsible and dangerous of them to be making claims and providing guidance that is not backed by any science. He can address his frustration by funding serious medical research. In the mean time, talk to your actual medical doctor.

I suspect this kind of behavior is a direct result of the Supreme Court giving him full immunity. He will keep trying all kinds of illegal stuff because he can. But it is criminal.

But it does feel to me like the Left is more of a "live and let live" approach, while the hard Right is more "there is a correct way to live and anything else will not be tolerated."
I mean, wasn't this country founded on religious freedom and separation of church and state? Or am I misstating?

But we don't have to agree on everything. It's OK to disagree and be civil and find a way to coexist peacefully.

As a fact seeker, I wish I had some data to help me understand the truth here.
I personally observed a very strong cancel culture on the left that felt pretty intolerant. As you point out, the Pres and VP now calling out the left as entirely the problem sets a new level of intolerance.
