Thx he was shocked too. She told him to "stand to the side", that he could "celebrate at Trafalgar Square if he liked" but couldn't march with the unions. We march every year, sometimes as a family (this was my son's 1st one 10 years ago). Some folks might need a reminder of what solidarity means.

I really feel this. I took great pride in always beating my kid and his mates at Sonic until the day came to pass when he just started absolutely obliterating me every race. I kept asking him if he'd changed a setting or something. 😂😭 One of my favourite nostalgia pics out there.

To search and discover the entirety of the www.flickr.com/photos/briti... images that BL Labs @bldigischol.bsky.social shared to Flickr back in the day, you need to 1) run a search then 2) select Illustrations/Art under Advanced Search and then 3) refresh the page....

Did you know @britishlibrary.bsky.social has over 1 million 19th Century Public Domain images and book illustrations on @flickrfdn.bsky.social? 🥰 Did you ALSO know that the main Flickr search only returns images and videos by default and not any other content types like Illustration/Art? Oooooof. 🤦
