If anyone’s seen me recently they know I’ve been hobbling on crutches and was told I’d torn ligaments in my thigh. After it getting MUCH worse, a private MRI showed I have broken femur in my hip socket… great! Very lucky it’s not broken off clean but it’s not far off, so 3 months of rest for me 🪦

Do you know about "wool science"? Did you know that it originated in Yorkshire, which was then a thriving part of the global textile trade? Listen to Monica Stenzel discuss this with @kingtekkers.bsky.social in episode 6 of The Science of 1875 open.spotify.com/episode/2Zc1...

Turns out, we got sabbath tickets and I take everything back 🤫

How on earth is anyone managing to get Sabbath tickets? I’ve tried 2 presale and general sale today. Each time ticketmaster has asked me to authenticate my account (despite already doing this every time I’ve logged in) and then not let me in the queue! Fewmin

Things I love about Severance (the series):
-The Thom Yorke-esque piano theme song.
- the use of analogue tech like old tv’s (the type which would be wheeled into the classroom at school)
- the corporate dystopian hell we are shown as a distant concept, that we know we are already living in…

Seeing Slipknot last night in Leeds play their 1999 S/T album in full, including the horrible 9 minute outro song ‘Scissors’ (which happens to be my fave) was unreal and a very unexpected bday surprise… #closetmosher
