i think i can finally move on to the GAME part of the game. i'm a slowpoke, but since the writing is the focus, i gotta make sure it's at least engaging.

fun fact: the average 2 hour screenplay is anywhere between 15,000 - 22,000 words. this project is at 17,000+ so far.

boring update: i've nailed what direction i want to take my game, so i've spent the last month learning Twine. i transferred most of what's written already from an outdated program i used prior, and now i'm basically redesigning the story's layout and gameplay to match the new direction. #gamedev

I'm getting close to completing the exterior areas visually. Got a good mix of rural and suburb vibes across the map and I feel almost satisfied with how everything is looking.
