It was supposed to be "be gay do crime", not "be gay be crime".

Magneto was right
I was kind of shocked that I enjoyed Charli XCX when I heard her. Not my style at all. I'm into metal, prog, a little bit of jazz. Also a Daft Punk fan, though, and when I heard Guess, I was kind of amazed that it not just homaged, but innovated on Technologic and a little bit of Crescendolls.

Stop platforming the people who deliberately damaged Western democracy all over the world beyond repair. She's still the same person who says forest fires are caused by "Jewish space lasers". She just doesn't like that today's Nazi is a Christian Zionist, and quite likes Jews.

I explained to the zoomers I work with that, as a millennial, sincere enjoyment was forbidden, if you DID like anything you had to be ashamed of it. Millennial coworker next to me nodded along. He was a closet Gorillaz fan, I was a closet Linkin Park fan. We could only "come out" in the late 2010s.

I like to say that ideology is a bloodborne disease. You either inherit it, or someone kills someone else and that only spreads the ideas they were killed for.

Trying to snuff out an idea with violence only leaves you with a Sorcerer’s Apprentice situation, with all the tiny broomsticks.

I rate games shows, music, movies, whatever, on one thing before anything else: was I entertained? If the point of it was entertainment, then thats the most important metric. You can pick apart why or why not, after you answer that.

Keep that in mind: was I entertained?

We can't go giving out boneless wings to EVERYONE when the asexuals need them more.

When Google+ launched (and wasn't awful), Facebook silently snuffed out any invite links or references to it. I compared with a friend, I posted my G+ invite link, he refreshed, checked my profile, even, and it wasn't there. Of COURSE Twitter is actively suppressing Bsky, and boosting this stuff.

The only real change is that we've switched from the word "celebrity" to "influencer", but the kinds of airheads people look to for advice haven't changed. They just don't have a legion of PR people preening them until they get past the 10 Mil follower mark.

It's something that was well in the making in the 90s, at least as I remember it. Celebrity opinion on stuff was valued more than journalist or expert opinion all the time. We now cross live to this C-List sitcom comedian for his take on the free trade agreement!

I can chip away at a big one for two or three days if I have little single-panel ideas to put out, but I haven't had any small ideas, so I haven't felt "safe" with a big idea.

I'd love to get right up close and whisper "be glad they're following you. Too many witnesses right now. I'll see you later."

The American way is to just shoot everyone who shows up at a hospital. Save everyone the time and money.

Just visiting? Whoops, too bad. Condolences to the widow... who is where exactly? Coming here? Goooood...

I think you could even get a kind of negative spotlight effect if you have a pair of recessed up-lights in the floor, at a high colour temperature (cooler, I know, it's backwards) so they don't diffract as much. You'd get a cone of darkness over a person.

No, no, 70% of the QA work being AI means the exact same amount of human work, PLUS 2.3 times all that, by AI!

Right?

... right?

Carved it into two in the hopes it’s treated better by the compression.

Bluesky kind of murders the image quality of such a long image. I should maybe have cut it up, but then I wouldn't get that whole neat vertical layout... Things to consider for future.

I played a lot of other great games, some new releases, some new-to-me retro classics, or just games a couple of years old, and Old Skies is my personal favourite of all of the game I’ve played this year. The Drifter comes a close second.

Which part? The pedantry about dinosaur taxonomy, or the concern you've accidentally made something so close to one of your influences that you've made the exact same thing?
