Lazy gardener, love the outdoors, growing, cooking and eating.

Think marmite is OK, would definitely put jam on first, and Die Hard is a Christmas Movie.

Russia is enemies with everyone. Even and sometimes especially with themselves.

There seem to be Labour peers and MPs who are also very bad landlords that have been in the news so I would disagree.

That would help the republicans win by a fair margin.

My husband and I have been together for nearly 30 amicable years some of which is because we enjoy about a 40% overlap of films. I have films and he has films and the now grown up kids have films but there are lots we both enjoy. A few we all enjoy. (Jurassic Park, original Star Wars, Jaws)

That's mainly because most people on here are similar in their politics. The bird place feels like only the loonies on xleft and xright are there, but here it feels heavily skewed to centre-left. That's fine, but hopefully views to either side of this will also be heard respectfully.

Oddly comforting to realise that even in Ancient times for every genius building pyramids or penning great poems there were thousands of people complaining, answering maths problems, drawing graffiti on walls, putting on their makeup, pickling olives and playing dice games.

You can have more than one hobby! But posting on the internet should be a minor one.
V easy to start cooking, drawing, running, swimming, gardening (indoors or on a balcony), historical sites, etc
Then you can also post!

Award merits etc to the quiet kids who do the right thing constantly. Don't award them to the naughty kids who are good for 3 minutes.

Ha! I work in a High School and see determinedly cheerful teachers trying to enthuse zombified teenagers about algebraic fractions or the motives of Lady Macbeth at 9am on rainy Tuesdays.

I miss when telly wasn't on all the time and you'd be quite happy watching the test card for 3 minutes waiting for Play School to start.

I stopped being a teacher during Covid. I took time out, did covid testing for gov agencies, worked fast food, then came back to ed in pastoral. I now earn a lot less but find I am good at my job and most ppl appreciate it and less stress so good all round...

I was going to say we liked Crowded House more but I just went on their website and they're doing a tour too...

I would add embrace & value every stage in life.

Listen to the old folks' rambling stories, one day soon they won't be there.

I find the least stressful way is when a marinade or long slow cook do most of the work. No last minute rush and definitely no multi-tasking! Also while lots of recipes and cook books are great and helpful, I always at least double the amount of time they think it will take!

I reckon around 40%, now I'm off to look.
