Lazy gardener, love the outdoors, growing, cooking and eating.

Think marmite is OK, would definitely put jam on first, and Die Hard is a Christmas Movie.

Daughter just got one of those scam texts pretending to be from Bank saying someone had spent £xxx,xx on her card, declined, please call xxx etc asap.
These ppl are despicable as the most vulnerable will be the ones paying up.
Banks won't ask you to call them, give details pwords etc!

This Wendy Cope poem is new to me. It’s quietly magnificent.

Hubby had hernia surgery last week. I have sat him down and attended to his needs assiduously , and suggested we watch the cycling as recovering. He's hooked!

Reminder - you went to the shops this week normally, you went to your job normally on your usual transport, got home and cooked or had a meal quite normally, then did your hobby quite normally (taking out friends family spouses opinions and takes)

I have been on here two days and already read posts from 2 ppl I know from RL wo searching them out. I was on the other place for many years and this only happened once.
Don't have a clue if this is significant or not but perhaps there are more real ppl on here?

I love watching cycling racing but why is la Vuelta on during August when temperatures can be in the 40s? Surely better in April or May?
