![The man used a sail to make a makeshift tent but had no food or water. He was finally spotted on Sunday morning by a passing yacht, whose crew raised the alarm. A lifeboat team from Andijk brought him safely ashore.
According to the KNRM, the man was slightly weakened but otherwise in good condition. [highlight begins] He was given coffee, a shower and dry clothes [highlight ends] in Andijk before being taken to a hotel to recover.
He told rescuers he was extremely relieved to see them, as he had begun to fear he would not survive the ordeal. And while the whole story is about BUDGET CRISIS it turns out the NDIS came in under budget forecasts despite increasing participation! Clearly the framing should be, "are we spending enough on these supports" not budget crisis

Odd framing to say kids are "relying" on the NDIS. I'm not an expert but from observation, seem it's the main way that the government funds/supports kids to access therapies that will help them e.g. be ready for school. You could move those costs elsewhere if you like but why would you?

Any vegan bakers/nerds about? I've seen a few recipes with instructions like this. My coffee-drinking experience would put oat milk in the "creamy" category, not almond milk. Am I wrong or is "creaminess" different in baking vs drinking? Pic is from Georgia Irwin's vegan pastry cream recipe.
