Why does it seem as if optimism and pessimism were products, pessimism would outsell optimism 10 to 1? Even in the best of times, people just seem to give in to their worst when things get spicy.

At this point, if there was a foot of snow on the ground and it was bitterly cold, and he said, "Looks like it snowed a few inches," I would still touch the snow to see if it was real and how deep it went.

I don't care about your politics. Can we all just admit, last 30 years, prices for healthcare have not gone down, only up, no matter what we do? The major problem with inflation is no one ever says, "I'll take less," unless you're the government and you are worth billions. So we have to go forward.

What little I know. Fellow straight men, if at the top of your list of traits for a partner is not competence, just like her list, you will always be disappointed. If you want to "date up," be competent, but for God's sake, listen, even before you try to help. Doing before helping adds, not helps.

The moment you make something gamable to a human, they will go at lengths to "win" how they see winning. You become the house, and 99% of your job is protection and 1% profit. That might sound bad, until you learn how many want to play.

What I don't get about politics is why so many people really get off on telling others what to do part? You do know bossing other people around is a job you don't get paid for, and that you still have multiple boss at, right?
