(4/4) Prototype

After grouping and choosing the main themes of the screens, I mock them up in Figma. The ones I'm sharing here and mi-fi as they don't have the final UI style but I can start playing with colours.

(3/4) Sketch and Crazy 8

After choosing 2 or 3 (always more than 1 to improve decision quality but no more than 3), I sketch multiple possible using a technique called "Crazy 8". 8 sketches 1 minute each, no time for critiques.

(2/4) Mechanic shortlisting

I write down the experience I want to influence in Whimsical. I come up with the mechanics that can impact it. Then I define what are the main risks of each, and which one is closer to deliver that experience
