trying not to get sucked down a rabbit hole of how federated moderation is a Hard Problem (just thinking of email and how we deal with spam today)
thought quite a bit about this and it was holding us back from implementing blocking. our answer now is that other servers just need to drop connections with servers that don’t respect the user-intent of blocks.
