I'm usually pretty entertained by what the Maccabeats and 613 come up with for Chanukah. But for some reason, they both went KPop this year. I particularly loved Bohemian Chanukah, but I'm old. lol

I think this is a big part of it. It's not a purely Christian holiday (since all the trees and Santa stuff isn't remotely Christian in a modern sense), but it's definitely Christian-dominated. Especially when they talk about the 'War On Christmas' or 'Putting the Christ back into Christmas'.

Yeah, he was very sympathetic to the N@zis. Horrible bigot.

Maybe fluoride has something to do with it also? RFK Jr will put a stop to it.

This sounds creepy AF. And it sure as hell wouldn't be (either of) my grandmother(s). One of them, I definitely would want to get some of her recipes, but AI isn't going to know those. lol

I wonder if it goes into Tolkien at all. He basically wrote all his books in order to use the languages that he had been creating since he was young.

This sounds like a recipe for cursing 2026.

Well, I definitely wouldn't recommend watching it yet, even if you decide to watch it. They released 4 episodes. They will release 3 more on 12/25, and then the finale on 12/31. I'm personally only watching because I'm a completist and my brain won't allow me to skip. I was the same way with House.

I think it's part of an overall ignorance of history. The symbolism of the guillotine being used on 'the elite' after the revolution was BECAUSE that was how they dealt with 'the commoners'. That's why some miss your point.

May his legacy be forgotten. lol

Espresso is just the coffee base. Single, double, or triple shot basically. Cappuccino is steamed milk and foam added (usually about the same amount as the espresso). Latte is similar, but there's usually a LOT more milk in it, but less foam. I also dislike lattes. I want espresso to be the focus.

I'm not sure it crosses the border into cyberbullying, but it's definitely got old bigoted man yelling at cloud vibes. If it were done in a context towards Jews, that's when it would cross the line into cyberbullying IMO.

It gets even more ironic when one considers the N@zi inversion going on. When one side was actively affiliated with them before and during WW2 (Hajj Amin Al-Husseini) and that ideology is still very much present in the modern day. But only the few wacko Kahanists get noticed.

I know a decent number. It's why I avoid talking politics (at least specific candidates) in any sort of synagogue spaces. Well that and the progressives. We have a lot of NY transplants. Meanwhile, I'm on neither side universally, so I tend to talk about issues and not sides.

You would think with a name like that they would recognize a straw man argument when they see one.

It's pretty on brand for them, though.

The end goal of BDS is pretty simple. The undoing of the creation of Israel. It's couched in the language of the West mentioning freedom and equality, but 'the occupation' ultimately means the existence of the Israeli state in any form. It's basically just boycotts of Jews carried from pre-48.

Except that NONE of these countries ban DNA testing. They don't allow consumer DNA testing. They require a court order for DNA testing and limit it to specific things (like paternity testing).
November 25, 2025 at 5:27 PM
What does France have to hide? What does Germany have to hide? What do all of the other countries that prohibit consumer DNA testing have to hide? The answer is ultimately nothing. Genetic testing conducted elsewhere shows that Jews came from the Levant no matter where they wound up in the diaspora.

For the same reason France does. Recreational DNA tests are considered violations of privacy of medical information. DNA testing is only permitted for specific medical, scientific, or judicial purposes, and requires a court order.

I decided to do brisket, green bean almondine, and keto Hawaiian rolls. Still trying to figure out what I'll do for a dessert. Might do a tarte a la bouille with JustEgg and a more keto friendly flour (like an almond and coconut flour blend).

It gets even more interesting when one considers the 'converso' connection. It's estimated that as high as 20% of Acadians were "Crypto Jews" escaping the Inquisition and Alhambra Decree.

But DNA testing sites bear out a lot of the video also. Descendants of Acadians are very distinct.
