I found this little flower in Audubon Park in New Orleans that I’d never seen before. It turns out to be a Sparrow False Pimpernel. It is originally from tropical and subtropical Asia and Australia. In the U.S., it is only known from Louisiana. I guess it arrived by Mississippi River traffic.
