I went for a little cycle this morning in my hometown (Melbourne)

This was probably the best poster I saw in Japan and if you don't speak any Japanese you'll probably never guess what it's about.

Lake Towada in northern Japan was well worth the visit. Some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen. I camped for two nights by the side of the Lake, drinking coffee and letting my mind unwind.

I deliberately went to the northern end of Honshu, the area where the population is dropping the most. I saw many, many towns that must have boomed in the 90s and have now fallen into decay. Eerie and beautiful.

The Shimokita Peninsula in northern Japan was some of the most beautiful, and some of the most deserted, roads I've ever cycled on.

I cycled around Japan in June of this year and many surreal moments happened, every day. This day, I saw an ancient stone circle from the Jomon period, had climbed out from a deep crater lake and had some delicious creamy ramen. Then as I was cycling through rice fields, I saw this ambulance.

I was in Tokyo in June of this year. Went to this noodle place. I order the Spicy Noodles and Mapo Tofu. The chef asks me "Are you sure?" in japanese, and I reply "BiG sPiCy. thAnKiNg YoU" in japanese. I struggle and sweat so much that he returns to check on my welfare after I am done.
