Canadians intuitively know the value difference between a nurse and the civil service worker added within the last two years, adding marginal value. PSAC refuse to acknowledge marginal diminishing returns.
But the NDP argue they're all the same.

increasingly not needed and at the same rate becoming an anachronism, with the aforementioned workers. PSAC is not credible not acknowledging *any merit* to job cuts. Canadians know the federal public service is bloated.
This is where the NDP go wrong, & why they lose credibility.

The solution to ensuring Indigenous peoples, rural communities, seniors, and people with disabilities, receive the service they need is micro-targeting - not upholding the entirety of a service that is increasingly not needed by more and more people. This is costly & inefficient.

Don't get me wrong: not all conservatives are morons. I've worked and socialized with conservatives, many of whom I consider to be thoughtful people. But they too lament that their movement has become dominated - polluted? - by cruel morons who strive for mediocrity.
