Did the chase remind you of a certain chase in Point Break? After all the dread and seriousness, it's like things cut completely loose; the fun those kids were having was so palpable it abruptly shifted the tone of the movie.

I first encountered this thought in Stephen King's Danse Macabre in regard to The Twilight Zone. There's not enough long-term investment in supporting artists in general today, and knee-jerk reactions when expectations are not met. I agree with how this plays out with the streamers.
