This goes for art YouTubers as well, or any YouTubers for that matter, but it's just productivity youtubers in particular are on my shit list because as someone suffering from ADHD I am DESPERATE for structure and frameworks and these people always try and appeal to and exploit people just like me.

Why'd they make the predator hot

No conversation to be had with the original piece of art. Not even SEEING it as art but simply as an outdated product that can be resold if it just had a shiny new paint job.

Completely soulless reanimation of the corpse of a beloved dudebro game they remember playing in college. Interpreting the limitations of the day as problems to be overcome with max fidelity being the ideal. It doesnt have to look good, it has to look REAL.

Fitting them into the timeline would go against exactly what they were trying to do with them in the first place, to break free from the series conventions, and so Im convinced they were specifically designed to just throw in whatever made the most sense without any care for continuity.

The whole reason they exist was because they wanted to go back and rethink what a Zelda game even was and upend the series conventions, to give themselves and the players the freedom to explore new ideas and not be beholden to old ones.

This I think is exactly why they arent part of the timeline.
