This honestly seems a desperate and unserious way of doing it. Only realistic means to do it imo is to outspend MLS and create a better product. I don't see this and P/R in a new league being compatible. Too high risk and too low reward for investors.

I followed both Corinthians and River Plate being relegated and honestly it sucked. Smaller teams may never recover like these teams did.

This. It's also an area I have a huge disconnect with far too many of my peers. I don't like losing, but after a loss I just continue my day because there's always another game. Everyone else acts as if the world has ended and if you don't think the same you have a problem.

And the average NWSL team will still be as good as a top 4 team in WSL and the worst NWSL team will be better than 50% of the league. NWSL has too much domestic talent and money overall.

Not really. It's still more comparable to CONCACAF Champions Cup than the men's UEFA Champions League. A better comparison, be it imperfect is NWSL is the NBA and European women's soccer is Euro League.

Playing in Europe is a step down in women's soccer. It's literally the opposite of men's. It's really just a few select teams have a lot of money and no salary cap. The rest of the leagues are very mediocre.

No it doesn't. It looks like 2 teams spend a lot of money and the rest of the league doesn't. WSL is the women's equivalent to the Scottish Premiership on the men's side.

The answer is simply NWSL is gonna have to either raise the salary cap or do something like the MLS with DP spots. The problem with that though is it's current NWSL players that would have to be upgraded to DPs because unlike men's, Americans are the best players overall

This was the Richard Spencer getting punched video of the time.

No attempt to play the ball, studs high on the shin, and stopped a counterattack. Why is this the hill you choose to die on? Cynical tackles.
January 26, 2025 at 8:01 AM
Very clear unnatural position and the deflection is why the ball went into the goal. This is a fairly obvious call imo and complaining over this is hilarious. If a team scored against you this way you'd be furious.

It's actually fascinating that your argument is celebrating ignorance. Lol

This is almost definitely exactly what will happen though is TikTok is permanently gone. People move on and that's that. Maybe the other apps improve or who knows.

Ironically, I think Content creators on average will handle this better than the average user that just doom scrolled for hours daily.

The other dumb part is most splits are just limiting to how you can design your training schedule. Oh, I need to squat 3xs a week, that means 3 leg days. Shit, why can't I do biceps and laterals on that day too. Obviously I can. Schedule based on needs, not random splits.
