Check out Knotions Magazine's detailed (and very positive!) review of MATH FOR KNITTERS, by @kateatherley.bsky.social, in their STEM issue. They say that "nearly every knitter should have a copy of this book," and obviously we agree! knotions.com/kate-atherle...

To all of those who were upset about the removal of Confederate statues:

I remember your cries that “you can’t change history!”

The President now wants the Smithsonian museums to change its depiction of slavery and racism, since it’s been so negative.

WELL? I trust you will speak up….

Both Apple Maps and Google have changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico. Report the issue of the wrong name to them. In Google, click on the three dots at the top. In Apple, there’s a place on the side to report an issue. Don’t bother with clicking on the wrong name. They’ve greyed it out.

Imagine getting up every day deciding how many lives you can damage and destroy that day.

Now imagine being someone who voted for that person.

77,301,997 people don’t have to imagine it, BECAUSE THEY DID.

Watch out, 77,301,997ers. The lives he damages and destroys may be yours. #FAFO

The outrage over Bishop Budde’s sermon is interesting, particularly from those who identify as Christians.

What did the Bishop actually SAY? She asked the Trump to be merciful.

Are you angry because it made Trump angry and uncomfortable?

Or are YOU being made to feel angry and uncomfortable?

Bishop Budde is a profile in courage. She shows what it means to actually be a Christian, to live your faith and speak truth to power.

Thank you, Joe Biden, for a four year respite from fascism and incompetence.

Sadly, it seems that many Americans are fine with these things, as well as blatant racism and misogyny. So we get to have four more years of daily humiliations and horrors.

These days, I’m walking with Puddleglum. I am going to believe in my America, that embraces hope, diversity, and democracy. My America is better than the dark and bigoted one that has taken over, and it’s worth fighting for.
