In bloom, one of my favorite rare varietals that we have on the farm. Chasamanthe floribunda “duckittii” hailing from the Cape near Darling, South Africa. Blooms in Winter. Normally Agapantha bloom in Summer, so interspersing them together can yield several months of combined color.

Nathan Huffhines never recovered from the loss of his daughter. His wife ultimately left the marriage as well.
It was some years later that he changed his name, remarried, and went on to sire the famous Arizona Quints. 😋
