Opal, a resident Mean Kitty, has decided the kitten is her baby. She shot into the room and into the cat carrier. We got her out and closed the carrier and she ran in circles around it, crying. We had to let her be Mom to Galadriel.

This is my Gramma's bean salad. The vinegar we used was the potent kind. We also didn't put in celery; it's a useless and stringy vegetable.
