After 60 years of being really into F1, I've really struggled to enjoy the sport over the last few years. Since Liberty Media came in, I can only describe it as corporate. I feel never again will we see the likes of Ken Tyrell, Hesketh, Eddie Jordan, Colin Chapman (Lotus) Frank Williams.

I've just read a report stating roads in Britain are to be made narrower to stop cars overtaking cyclist's.
This if true is absolutely ridiculous.

I'm not a great believer in Monarchy. But after seeing some of the decisions taken by public votes in recent years in UK & USA.

Do I want my face scanned by social media companies? Do I want my card details given to social media companies. No, most definitely not. I managed without social media for over 50 yrs, so sure I can manage without it for whatever time I have left.

How long does it take Severn Trent to fix a watermain ?? I was 26 yrs old when I moved to this peaceful Derbyshire hamlet. The water supply was not the best & water ran down the Rd. Am 63 now & still dodgy water supply & water running down the Rd.

It's now clear to me that Israel, with the full support of USA regime intend to bomb the capital city of Iran to rubble killing many thousands of civilians.
All to force the oil rich countries to continue using the US Dollar to trade oil & also expand Israeli borders across the Gulf.

Try parking in Matlock Bath Derbyshire on a Sunny Sunday. Derbyshire County Council I'm sure can't run a pi55 up in a brewery. Pay by phone in a carpark with no mobile phone coverage.. 10 out of 10 for stupidity DCC. Or is it a scam to get fines money to roll in

Was chatting to a farmer earlier. He says it's going to be a poor harvest this year. It's been to dry apparently. This time last year he was complaining it would be a poor harvest because it was to wet. No pleasing some folks.

Seems if your self employed but develop a health problem that restricts the amount of work you are able to do, hence cutting your earning potential. There's no help from the safety net you've paid into for almost 40 years. DWP force you out of business.

Just home from a T Rextasy gig in Chesterfield. Anyone who was a fan of Marc Bolan & T Rex if this band is playing near you I strongly recommend them. As far as I know they are the only band actually endorsed by original T Rex members. Fabulous evening.

Travelled over the Pennines to Stockport for Stage Squads production of Peter Pantyliner. A most enjoyable evening. The work put into the production was phenomenal. The script, pure comedy. Better than many professional productions I've seen over the years.
