You know, after having it pre-ordered for (I'm not exaggerating) the better part of a decade, I'm of mixed feelings about the Seattle setting in the new Bloodlines game. For the most part, I can just acknowledge that this approximately 4 block by 4 block "world" is entirely made up . . .

So! Tron: Ares. A buncha movies came out on digital the last week or so, and I'm catching up. I didn't actually intend to watch it, but then I realized that while Legacy wasn't very good (WAY too fuckin' convoluted) it was at least a good *music video* and this one was Nine Inch Nails. So: sold!

Lemme just say that when it comes to like, movie concepts, James Wan and Leigh Whannell both come up with unnerving or outright scary concepts that fall apart upon even the barest bit of consideration, but in the moment, they're engrossing. That, in and of itself, isn't really rewatchable.

Watched Weapons, re-watched The Naked Gun, then went on a TV Tropes binge. You know what? Someone needs to go through there and change the WAY TOO MANY GODDAMN INSTANCES OF "much to his ___", "much to her ___", "much to their ___". There are OTHER ways of saying someone has a reaction to something.
