NYT editors put "Claudine Gay" in "top 5 featured on the New York Times homepage Dec 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 22, 25"

While they put Trump calling for Constitution's "termination" on page 15 and his chief of staff's "tyrant" warning on 12

Christopher Rufo openly bragged about the plans:
"The thing about this guy is that he’s a total product of right-wing affirmative action and you literally would never have heard of him if he was a liberal"

Apparently Bezos and his wife are fans of the free press. I think this explains why his vision for the wapo is to assemble a group of incredible idiots and have zero standards for factuality.

I guess that makes sense. Given a ton of dimensions there's more likely an escape route out in some dimension, and if the dataset is too small you just end up overfitting and being useless.

When we do gradient descent, what's sort of the state of the art in preventing getting stuck in local maxima?

I'm not an AI knower, but my intuition is that there are a bunch of scale problems in trying to do either of those things.

Is there still much evolutionary AI happening? Is that how they're doing AI product design, etc...?

vance even did this blatantly with Haitian immigrants in Springfield, admitted he found it okay to lie if it was propagandistically useful, and still gets deferential coverage in mainstream news. It should be regarded as being completely morally reprehensible to do this in public.

"It sucks that someone got killed. It sucks to see hotels discriminating against people who serve their country." People actually reach out to this idiot for quotes on issues.

Seems like the evidence for the benefits of high protein is waning, at best.

Reihan shortly after vance was going around purposefully lying about Haitians eating pets and then publicly declaring it was fine to lie if the story was good... "a... conscientious... decent person".
