I guess that makes sense. Given a ton of dimensions there's more likely an escape route out in some dimension, and if the dataset is too small you just end up overfitting and being useless.

I'm not an AI knower, but my intuition is that there are a bunch of scale problems in trying to do either of those things.

vance even did this blatantly with Haitian immigrants in Springfield, admitted he found it okay to lie if it was propagandistically useful, and still gets deferential coverage in mainstream news. It should be regarded as being completely morally reprehensible to do this in public.
