Taylor Swift could do a reverse Gwen Stefani and drop a ska album. Would be important to the real people: me

Hello. For this post I will tell you I saw a wolf spider on my parents' back stoop four nights ago. Today I saw the tiniest cricket I have ever seen. That's all. Thank you for listening to me share these encounters with bugs.

Hello. I have decided I am actually good at social media. This post slaps. I am too critical of my talents and depriving the world of good words.
Hello. For my second post, I will tell you about a spider I saw today. It had a huge bulbous butt, and on its black plastic belly it carried a tiny white cross, like a spider coat of arms. It made a spiderweb the size of my head on my back porch. Thank you.

I am only 51 pages in and haven't flipped it upside down but @joseolivarez.bsky.social's Promises of Gold slaps and YES this is a Twitter duplicate post but I need everyone to know how good this book is and I need José Olivarez to know how much I love this book

Memoir recommendations from Chicana writers? Latina writers too, but I would really like to read more from Mexican-American women.

New question for writers. I'm struggling to read more than a page in a book and to write more than 100 words at a time. I love reading my classmates' work and giving them feedback, but after workshop I have to sleep for twelve hours. I can't tell if I'm just tired or if it's something else. -

Any other writers really sensitive to sound? As in, it doesn't matter how quiet the decibels are, you can FEEL the sound in your body?

I am not funny online, so I am only on social media to know when lit mags are opening submissions and when they have published cool things. But I cannot find the lit mags as easily on this website. So now I am mostly here to share fun encounters with bugs.

Hello. For my third post I will tell you that I think the spider I reported on in my second post hitched a ride with me to Wal-Mart and got blown away on the highway. We all mourn the coat-of-arm spider's loss. Please respect our privacy in this trying time. Thank you.

Hello. For my first post, I will tell you about the death's head cockroach. The death's head cockroach has the scientific name Blaberus craniifer. Blaberus craniifer means "head carrier." This is because the death's head cockroach looks like it has a tiny skull on the back of its head. Thank you.
