Photography as well as my music has always been about trying to convey the feeling I had in the moment, and create a snapshot of emotion for myself. If others enjoy them it’s an extra bonus. I feel the mist of the waterfall in the air and hear the stream. Calm and serenity. Love your work!

Fantastic landscapes! I’m loving all the inspiration I’m finding on Bluesky to get back out and start looking at the world through a lens again.

On the plus side, yesterday I found my slides from the first trip I took there back in 95 shot on my old Minolta. Taking them to get digitized this weekend.

I imagine a lot of people, myself included, are still figuring out how Bluesky works. Every day I find someone new to follow and it’s a pleasure reading through my feed. It feels more like a real community than the sites I abandoned years ago.

One of the highlights of my life was watching a total lunar eclipse that week by a campfire on the beach, hours away from the nearest telephone or road.

It really is about the most Houston thing I’ve seen!
