I imagine. When I taught at the elementary level, 40 years ago, cuts were constant and concerning.

Why are teachers so in need of supplies for their classrooms? I taught for 39 years and always was somewhat short of supplies, but not on the essentials (except Kleenex, pencils, and masking tape). What %$ of your needs are not being met?
