We bought a Bolt in 2023 as well. Just the standard version (not EUV). I'm 6'2" and have never had trouble with headroom. It's a great car. Fun to drive, too.

So great to see this again!

Chicken broth can be surprisingly satisfying. And finger jello ... it's almost food!

I love Price. Baseball cards, Hummers, Squat-Cobbling, the agreed upon price being agreed upon. That guy was batting 1000 every time he was on.

Honestly, I expected flat tires to be more of an issue than they turned out to be. From TV and movies in the 80s, I just figured if you drove a car, you'd need to change a flat every year or so. Totally agree on the quicksand.

It makes me think about unintended consequences. I don't know if there is more bad behavior or if we're just finally seeing how people have always been. I don't know if the world is getting better or worse.

Is it *possible* that you two are overreacting to one game? I mean, the Bucks had everything to prove and the Thunder want the NBA championship, not this cup thingy. Maybe? If this was game one of a seven game series, would you be saying the series was over?

Absolutely world-class Dad joke and I am here for it!! (Literally. I just followed you. Thanks for the laugh and just know my expectations are high for future posts.) :)

I mean, maybe she's in it for that highly-complemented sweet potato casserole ... 😒

As a lifelong Vikings fan, I'm very familiar with the "inflated record with no chance of winning the big game" season. I'd love to be wrong some year, but this isn't new.

It's like someone was challenged to make mayonnaise worse, and they succeeded beyond all expectations.

Hey Jay, good to see you over here! I just want you to know that I, personally, found hope and inspiration in your work and it had and has value, at least to me. (I'm guessing I'm not alone.) Thank you for building those Legos.

They are the anti-Vikings. I watch the Vikings and think, I don't really think you're that good, but you keep winning! The 9ers really aren't that bad, but everything has gone wrong for them.

Saying conductors don't have musical talent is ... an interesting take. Anybody who has ever casually glanced at a orchestra or band score knows how complicated that job is.

I've never been able to convince my father, who loves westerns, to watch "Godless" on Netflix for the same reason.

I still have a visceral positive reaction to these. Carrying around my CD library was mind-blowing. Every once in a while, I plug my old one iPod and burn through a playlist. Good stuff!!

I'd put Stanger in a Strange Land on there.

I was a big fan of the Syfi mini series as well. But if you go watch the trailer now ... woof ... those effects have not aged well. That said, watching those mini-series got me to read books 2 & 3!
