It’s time. The end of #TheHighRepublic. My heart broke after all the Acolyte drama but it can’t be denied that this book run brought me back to #StarWars in ways I never imagined. I love these characters. I love this era.

So this week, the first ever Black-led soap opera premiered on CBS (🙏🏾🎉) and I didn’t know till I started watching it that it takes place in the DMV area!
The good: almost everyone is Black and hot
The bad: one of the characters is literally an MPD officer 😭 HELP

I just caught up on TT drama and all I have to say is 1) @katblaque.bsky.social has more grace and patience than I will ever have and 2) I thank god everyday I was never socialized as a white woman.
