Cuomo is going on Fox News in order to court Sliwa voters that he needs to win the election, and they want, uh, red meat conservative politics so he's giving it to them

I would submit to New York City voters that the guy telling Republicans he'll be the mayor they want is probably telling the truth
So here's Andrew Cuomo reacting to Maria Bartiromo wondering if Mamdani will "change the look of New York" and have Muslim women "completely covered up," telling her that Mamdani "doesn't understand New York culture" because he has "dual citizenship" and "he's a citizen of Uganda."

Here's the kicker!

Now we know this approach, adopted by a broad coalition, can win a citywide race.

This coalition can become the new Democratic Party that Brooklyn has needed for so long—one that builds grassroots support, one that wins elections, and one that delivers for every community!

About last night! 🧵

Back in January, NKD landed on a coalition strategy as the best chance to win this mayoral race. Inspired by a @nywfp.bsky.social proposal, we planned our first multi-candidate endorsement. In February we endorsed four candidates for mayor and urged our allies to do the same.

🏫The NYC public school system is a marvel, serving nearly a million students and employing 130,000 teachers and staff. 🏫

But the fact is, Andrew Cuomo fought time and again as governor to lower funding to NYC public schools.

As mayor, he can’t be trusted to put students first.
