The Eaton fire, burning out-of-control near Pasadena east of Los Angeles, was quickly growing in size on Wednesday morning amid dangerous high winds, according to California fire officials. More than 52,000 residents were under mandatory evacuation orders and 46,000 were under evacuation warnings.

Public Libraries can be wonderful places where children and adults can find books that they can see themselves reflected in, no matter who they are, and books that can introduce them to entire other lived experiences. Both are so valuable!
