An Auspol old timer
It would be wise for Snr Labor ministers to consider their travel very carefully. There looks to be a coordinated media hit on travel expenses. I don’t personally think I see excess, but optics are important.

Hahaha David Littleproud arguing with David Spears on Insiders! Like actually arguing around in circles on net zero and the 9 trillion v 300 billion estimate for net zero transition -

Barnaby goes to One Nation same day Labor goes with the Greens to pass the EPA legislation, making a day that should be about “Labor giving into the Greens” instead about the Coalition / LNP falling apart, yet again.

Breaking Ranks shows the mental strain on at least some of the soldiers in Gaza.

“I feel like they’ve destroyed all my pride in being an Israeli – in being an IDF officer,” Daniel says in the programme. “All that’s left is shame.”

It was amusing listening to Ed Husic celebrate Mamdani’s Islamic faith, but barely whisper his socialist leanings on Afternoon Briefing. People voted for Mamdani because of his housing and taxation policy, not because he follows Islam / is Muslim. Labor right just don’t get the Labor movement.

This horse shit from the pro-Israel lobby is, as usual, horse shit.

There is no "spat". What on earth are Jillian & her mates on about?

A "spat" is a squabble between two parties. Two parties.

There is only one party arguing here - Israel.

And there is only one aggressor here - Israel.

We denied a visa to a known trouble making Israeli, just as Home Affairs has denied visas to thousands of people like him.

That's not aggression, that's legal sovereignty and responsible government.

Nobody in Australia's govt went on social media & attacked a nation's leader.

Israel did. #pffft

As the IDF begins what could be the bloodiest phase yet of the war in Gaza, opposition to the conflict inside the IDF — both among leadership and the rank and file — is becoming more and more common.

Netanyahu who is only in power at the behest of far right extremists, says Albo is weak.

Albo has one of the largest parliamentary majorities on record, isn’t facing domestic corruption charges, nor international isolation.

Netanyahu is the weak one.

The group claimed the inclusion of a Palestinian author was "antisemitic" and that organisers should "implement immediate measures".
