I can't help but notice that all the macho men randy savages out there are all calling on Ukrainians to surrender. Not very masculine to just give in, but what do I know, I was taught to stand my ground and fight for my people and principles.

I get the opposite. If there's no minimum background noise, I get anxious. That's why I can't sleep in rural locales in the winter. Luckily the crickets more than make up for city noise in the summer.

I suppose what we would get are bitter infantry fights over securing the mountain- and hilltops so that the drone operators can station themselves there and operate... so once again, light infantry would be king in Balkan conflict.

I wonder what it'd look like in rough, mountainous country like the Balkan states (which are also heavily wooded).

I think tankies (and Russia supporters more generally) should be sent to Ukraine as munitions. The fat ones can be arial bombs and the skinny ones can be fired out of MLRS.
