It’s supposed to be a cat but @meganhg.bsky.social says it looks like a hamster. This is my first ever attempt at amigurumi (a word I just learned a week ago) and I don’t even want to admit how many times I had to start over.

I like a good amount of hand holding when learning new things, so I decided to subscribe to an Annie’s Kit Club to learn a bunch of crochet stitches. This will be an afghan with 30 different stitch patterns. I struggled a ridic amount with my stitch count in the second stripe so it got a bit fuzzy.

I resolved to work on my unfinished projects. But also, tonight seemed like the time I absolutely needed to learn to crochet granny squares with the yarn I had left over from the blanket I made. Happy new year!
