I do some game dev stuff as Moment Studio and some music stuff as Balatran. And probably other stuff too. Working on a game called Driving At Night.

In the Loki TV series when two people who have deviated from the 'sacred timeline' encounter timekeepers in charge of keeping it in order, it's presented almost exactly like it was in Bill & Ted when basically the exact same scenario happened.

Love how on eBay this auction would be like "FAMOUS Kiss guitarist's amp, comes with golden certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist, $9000" but here in NZ the auction's just like "got this old amp, random name written in it, could mean anything, $1 reserve."

Games never quite managed to bring this kind of really crisp pixel art look faithfully into the 3D era. I really like this style.

All stable processes we shall predict. All unstable processes we shall control.

Working on a new terrain system that's an infinite (but periodically repeating) grid, where space for the road is carved out.

Need to somehow make this also work with changing slope, so you can drive uphill at slow times and down into a canyon when the music's intense.

Does the blue car need to put their hazards on when entering this roundabout? The law says they must indicate both left and right.

Random discovery: These spiky 'jelly' PVC toy balls somehow make insanely good doorstops. It will absolutely refuse to roll if pushed by a door even against the full weight of a person. I can't see any existing doorstop designs using a "squishy with spikes" technique like this

The closest thing to it is this comment from Banks' diary on Jan 17 1770, where he notes that the birdsong sounds very nice.

New Zealand PSA: I'm afraid our birdsong was never described as "deafening" by Captain Cook or his crewmate Joseph Banks or indeed anyone else. This myth seems quite persistent.

Enhanced. This is the last Soviet rifleman that I've been looking for. Finally I can get Mission Accomplished.

Still an early prototype, but I've been working on a little game ('Driving At Night') which is sort of… imagine Audiosurf if it was a driving sim. The road and world react in real time to whatever you're listening to. Supports every service - Spotify, local files, YouTube etc.

It also makes me wonder whether Quidditch might have been loosely based on the Mesoamerican ballgame itself.

For anyone who says the Quidditch "150 points for catching the snitch" rule would never make it into a real ball game. Check out this paragraph from "Aztecs: An Interpretation" by Inga Clendinnen (1991):

Reminds me of a little SCP idea I had once. Even submitted it to the SCP forum for approval but they wanted it to have a whole narrative/backstory and I couldn't be bothered. But I did feel like there was potential for a very interesting "research log".

What does the ingredients/nutrition area of yours look like? This seems to be the label for the older NZ version (sold in NZ but doesn't have the FOR NZ ONLY text on the other panel).
