Finished! I knew I would love this book. I adore these characters, especially the kids. They make me laugh out loud all the time. Not to mention the audiobook narrator puts so much emotion into some of the heavier parts...I found myself in tears a few times. Thoroughly enjoyable.

As someone who works in healthcare IT, thank you. That is a topic that needs so much more visibility.

It's a really good book and totally worth the read. The author does nothing to shield you from the attitudes of the 1920s, and in some places really highlights them. It's a story that more people should know...but I had to put it down and calm myself a few times before continuing.
