Explaining something to a friend, might as well share (1/3) 📚
I used to animate on a show that had confusing graphic shapes, and I had to animate them moving in 3D space in a believable fashion. Often times drawing a new head angle was confusing to find! So I'd add 1-2 new sketches to search for it

Start with a simple straight on face

Now do the same thing with the next axis, keeping it simple so you know it's close to accurate.
