Yes, but the NYT won’t publish that. It’s too reasonable.

“The fairness of the sport is at stake. Not acting will only lead to trophies and scholarships being stolen by male-bladdered individuals, and innocent women suffering the consequences.”

“I’ve had nightmares about it ever since, and I’m not alone. In the year I spent researching this piece, I found two other women who were similarly victimized by loud urine sounds from suspected trans women in the last decade. We need common sense bathroom regulations.”

“I was okay with trans women in bathrooms because I believed the SJWs. Then, last August, a tall woman walked into the bathroom at the same time as me and chose a stall two down from mine. The sheer amount of urine that came out of her, and the sound it made, left me shivering and in tears.”

We also fixed a rather embarrassing typo with a CM's name (thanks to @zackkaylor.bsky.social for spotting it).

Thanks for weighing in! The “Nah” stuff from Bauhaus are my personal favorite N/A beers made in Minnesota.

I’m sensitive to the fact, as someone who writes about alcohol on a monthly basis, my column is very much not for everyone. I’ve grappled with whether it’s “moral” for me to write it given known health impacts. Folks have a lot of reasons for not drinking, and all of those are valid and fair.

I asked *everyone* who won what their favorite beer is, and happily included whatever their response was. “I don’t drink alcohol, but I like such and such” was a valid response. I don’t think not asking folks based on my understanding of their religious beliefs would have been good either.

@sorenwithward8.bsky.social went full political philosophy on that answer in a really great way.

Like, Pat’s Tap would be so much better as a local brewery it hurts.

Farmstead feels a bit residential for a brewery, but I like your thinking access-wise.

If I were to pick a location, it’d be on Nicollet around 36th or 35th, or maybe in the Sonny’s location off Lyndale (and just inside Ward 8) since it’s for sale.

Minneapolis is objectively the better city when looking at the number and quality of breweries, but I strongly recommend the Twin Cities generally. Top tier beer.

Thanks so much!

I stuck just to municipal folks for this, but I might have to do another with state folks.

You’ll see it soon in my column for Racket!
