They’re coming home! The wonderful news we’ve been waiting two years for. The end of this nightmare.
This must be the start of a very different reality for the whole region. We all deserve better. L’chaim - to life

Something I was not expecting to read in Shunsaku Tamiya’s autobiography was 4 pages about his trip to Israel in 1968 to see a Soviet T34 tank captured in the 6 Day War. A lot of the book is about the efforts he went to for research so that Tamiya models are accurate. A passionate perfectionist

I’m not sure that this café, “Fournos”, put enough thought into how it looks when you submit your expense receipts.
For the non-Hebrew readers suffice it to say that we don’t have different letters for F and P and first time this showed up on a credit card statement I was a little shocked

What the hell kind of propaganda is this?! It’s not binary, you don’t have to choose…

Saw the #F1 movie and really quite enjoyed it. If you accept the basic premise that a 60yr old driver who wasn’t even successful in the 90s could jump into a modern F1 backmarker and be competitive then all the other belief-suspending details are just that, details

Bought a couple of these postcard prints by Guillaume Lopez when I was at Le Mans. Really wanted his larger and very beautiful cutaways of the Alfa Giulia GT and Lotus 49 but they were too big to take home. These postcards will frame together nicely though. When you know, you know

Now that I’m no longer there I can say that I was at Le Mans over the weekend. Can’t get home because the Israeli skies are closed and it’s very difficult being away from most of my family while they’re sheltering from Iranian missiles but this is our lives now. Le Mans was great though…

With SandCats rolling out across London (according to the BBC, I couldn’t possibly comment), the question of the relevance of aesthetics on vehicles like this has come up again. You can read what I think about this at the link: www.linkedin.com/pulse/looks-...

It’s going to be a hot and dry Le Mans this year

I love a varied classic car show where an Innocenti can sit by an E-type, SLC, and Capri

Bit unfair using a non-standard car and expecting us to get the year in one #Cardle

WTAF? A musician openly supports a viciously antisemitic, well-armed, and internationally proscribed terror group, and the day after two Jews are murdered on the streets of Washington @SkyNews runs a story about how scary it is right now to be… a musician

You chanted “globalize the intifada” so an American murdered this young couple on the streets of Washington DC to free Palestine.
There is another way. There’s a better way for all of us.
May their memory be a blessing for peace

Took me a while to realise that this strange artefact on the café wall is the hand-carved wooden buck that a mould would have been taken off to cast metal signs. No idea what they’re for though

Peugeot showroom.
Maybe Stellantis are missing a trick by not platform-sharing the grinders and offering versions branded as Opel, Alfa Romeo, Jeep etc. I mean you’d pay a bit more for a Maserati pepper grinder, right? Brits would prefer a Vauxhall one, no?
