IMO if you want to have something and don't want to be a Knife Guy (TM) I usually just opt for the multitool or even a swiss army knife. Pliers and philips screwdrivers are handy enough to have and don't really have substitute tools. If you just want a blade without getting tactical, Opinel.

I am not a huge fan of the trip itself but the bulk discount on certain items is pretty so it's hard to argue with the economics. And I do love a 1.50 hot dog with my shopping

The next thing is to reduce the use of the car with more economical mode. Save on fuel costs, insurance via mileage, and maintenance. Cheapish cars might be coming but nothing will beat the cost value of a $100 bike from FB marketplace, a bus pass, or your own two feet. Make every dollar count.

Could be a couple things. Do you find that at the bottom of the pedal stroke your toes are pointing down to the ground or are they relatively parallel to the ground?
